Performance: This product is white single crystal or amorphous powder, non-toxic, tasteless, stable in the air. Relative density 2.1 light 6. Slightly soluble in water, aqueous solution is alkaline. Solubility in water was 1.02% (15 C). Soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, in case of dilute acid that is released carbon dioxide decomposition. Character: In normal temperature, it’s with three hydrates. Light one is white, easily fragile or loose white powder. Odorless.
Relative density is 2.2. Melting point is 350℃. It’s stable in the air. When heated to 700℃, it will become magnesium oxide.
It’s hardly soluble in water, but it’ll bring a slight alkaline reaction.
